The primary use of my main PC is of course gaming. Taking this into account, I make it my priority to make sure that everything ticks over nicely, making sure that it’s quite capable of playing today’s games with all “eye candy” and the highest settings without compromise to performance. This of course means upgrading as frequently as possible and many hours of tweaking the configuration to squeeze that extra performance. The only constraint I have is the cost. Upgrading is unarguably expense and it’s important to realise that having the latest technology all the time is an unachievable quest. Not unless you have a bottomless wallet. Therefore, I make sure I buy the products that will give the PC a significant performance boost today that will stand the test of time at the right price. This isn’t easy and it means continually reviewing hardware to make sure that I’m up to date with latest technological development of PC hardware. This for me is half the fun.
